Account access and workspace security

Learn how to protect your account, manage trusted devices, and what to do if you notice suspicious access.

How account access works

Access to vacancies, analysis results, saved cards, and notes is linked to your Qualex account.

Use email and password or Google sign-in if it is available for your account. Do not share your password with other people, and do not use the same password across different services.

If you need to share results with your team, it is better to export the available data or use your company’s internal process instead of sharing the account login and password.

How to protect your account

Use a strong password that is hard to guess. It should be long enough, different from your email or other service passwords, and should not contain obvious personal information.

If you sign in with Google, sign-in security also depends on your Google account. Enable two-step verification in Google if available, and keep track of which devices have access to your Google account.

If you work from someone else’s or a shared device, sign out of your account when you finish.

Trusted devices

Qualex may remember devices you use to sign in to make repeat sign-in and security checks easier.

In your profile, you can review trusted devices and remove a device you no longer use or do not recognize. If you see an unknown device, remove it from the list and change your password.

After a device is removed, signing in from that device again may require an additional check.

If you suspect unauthorized access

If you notice an unknown device, unexpected actions, changes in vacancies, or other suspicious signs, act right away:

  • remove the unknown device in your profile;
  • change your Qualex account password;
  • check the security of the email or Google account used for sign-in;
  • contact support if you suspect someone else may have accessed the account.

In your message, include the account email, the approximate time of the suspicious activity, and what exactly you noticed.

Important

Qualex protects access to accounts and workspaces with technical and organizational measures, but security also depends on how you protect your password, email, and device access.
