The Qualex calendar helps you keep interviews, follow-ups, deadlines, and personal reminders in one place. This guide explains how to create events, find upcoming tasks, update event details, and remove entries you no longer need.
How to open the calendar
Open your Qualex workspace and select Calendar from the sidebar.
The calendar page has two main views:
- Calendar displays your events in a monthly layout.
- Task list displays your planned events as an organized list.
You can switch between these views at the top of the page.
How to create a new event
- Click New event.
- Select an event type.
- Enter a short and clear title.
- Select a date.
- Set the start and end times or enable All day.
- Add an optional note.
- Click Save event.
After it is saved, the event appears in both the calendar and the task list.
Event types
The calendar supports four event types:
- Interview — for scheduled conversations with candidates.
- Follow-up — for the next action in your hiring process.
- Deadline — for important due dates and time-sensitive tasks.
- Reminder — for personal events and short work reminders.
Each event type has its own color, making different plans easier to identify in the calendar and task list.
The Reminder type marks an event in your calendar but does not currently send automatic email or push notifications.
Event title and note
Use the Title field to describe the planned action clearly. For example:
- Interview with Alex
- Send feedback to the candidate
- Review interview results
- Prepare the hiring report
A title can contain up to 160 characters.
The Note field is optional. You can use it for meeting details, questions for a candidate, additional context, or the next action. A note can contain up to 1,500 characters.
Calendar events are not linked directly to vacancies or candidate cards. They are personal entries that you can organize in the way that works best for you.
How all-day events work
If an event does not require a specific time, enable All day.
The start and end time fields will be hidden. The calendar and task list will display All day instead of a specific time.
This option is useful for deadlines, important dates, and tasks that can be completed at any time during the day.
How to move between months
Use the calendar controls to navigate:
- the left arrow opens the previous month;
- the right arrow opens the next month;
- Today returns you to the current date.
On larger screens, you can also use the small calendar in the sidebar to move directly to a specific date.
How to view events for a selected day
Select a date in the calendar and click Show tasks.
A list of events for the selected day will open. If nothing is scheduled, Qualex displays No events for this day.
On a phone, select the required date, open the daily task list, and tap an event to view its details.
How the task list works
Open Task list to view your active events in chronological order.
Events are automatically divided into groups:
- Overdue — unfinished events from the previous 7 days.
- Today — events scheduled for the current date.
- Next 7 days — your nearest upcoming events.
- Later — events scheduled after the next seven days.
Each row shows the event date, title, type, time, or the All day label.
Only events from the previous 7 days appear in the Overdue section. This prevents older entries from making the task list difficult to review.
How to filter events
Under Show on calendar, you can independently show or hide:
- interviews;
- follow-ups;
- deadlines;
- personal reminders.
Filters only change what is displayed. Hidden events are not deleted and will appear again when you enable their event type.
How to edit an event
Open an event from the calendar or select its row in the task list.
In the event details, you can change:
- the event type;
- title;
- date;
- start and end times;
- the All day setting;
- note.
Click Save event after making your changes.
On a computer, you can open an event directly from a calendar cell. On a phone, select the date, open the daily task list, and then select the event.
How to delete an event
You can delete an event in two ways:
- Open the event details and click Delete.
- Click the trash icon next to the event in a task list.
The event is removed from the calendar and all task lists. It cannot be restored through the calendar interface after deletion.
How many events can be stored
Each user can keep up to 250 active calendar events.
If you reach the limit, delete old or unnecessary entries before creating another event.
Old unfinished events are automatically removed 90 days after their end date. This keeps the calendar organized and prevents outdated entries from accumulating indefinitely.
Who can see calendar events
Calendar events are private. You can only see events created in your own account.
Other Qualex users cannot view, edit, or delete your events. Calendar information is not shared between different user accounts.
Tips for staying organized
- Use short titles that remain easy to read in the monthly calendar.
- Add the next action to the note when an event requires follow-up.
- Select the correct event type to make plans easier to recognize by color.
- Use All day for deadlines without a specific time.
- Review the Overdue section regularly.
- Delete entries you no longer need.
In short
To create an event, click New event, complete the required fields, and save it. Use the monthly calendar, Show tasks, or Task list to review your plans.
Filters let you temporarily hide selected event types, while event details and task lists provide quick access to editing and deletion.
